OVERVIEW
Mark at Watson & Co. approached us to help him deliver the new vision and core story of the company which was not coming through clearly on the original site. Moving back into the building where Mark had started his career was a key focus. The client wanted to keep the building at the heart of the story whilst also developing the brand and moving the website forward.
CHALLENGES FACED
This project’s focus was to refresh the core brand and elevate it to help the business grow. We had to factor in the key story which was that Mark Watson had started out his career in this building for another company. Twenty years later the building came up for sale, Mark made an offer. This nostalgia added to the core story.
We faced some technical challenges in accessing the website domain which caused some delays. Once we had access, the main challenge was to overhaul the outdated website structure and design and to focus on communicating the brand’s messaging in a more streamlined and effective way.
WHAT WE DID…
We developed a fresh new website design with a more intuitive structure. Once the layout was decided on, a full rewrite of all content was achieved by Narwhal/Content. We presented our copywriters with the new website layout and briefed them to create copy that would achieve the personal tone of voice needed to reflect Watson & Co’s story. We found this was the most effective way to communicate the message to our clients.
